In addition to the multifunctional office units, the C1 will host a lobby/lounge/“marketsquare” area of 800 sqm on the ground floor as well as two restaurant and coffee shop units. The basement will feature an underground car park for 11 cars and for around 120 bicycles, including charging points for electric cars and bicycles. The offices can be used as private and open-plan offices or as co-working spaces. The architecture and state-of-the-art technical equipment permit a wide variety of office types. The building, which was designed by Faber + Faber Architekten, moreover meets all requirements needed to obtain DGNB Gold, WiredScore Platinum and SmartScore Gold certifications. For the well-being of the staff working here, plans envision a fully-equipped fitness area, a small cinema, a multi-faith place of worship, and a day nursery. The public areas, including the lobby and the lift vestibules, will be designed by Ester Bruzkus Architekten.
Our ambition for the C1 is clearly defined: The idea is to create an environment that provides a maximum in innovation, sustainability and New Work ambience particularly suitable for younger staff. In day-to-day office reality, this means an end to the work in small cubicles, because commuting to work into the tailored working environment at C1 will feel like coming home. We believe that these, a highly advanced level of connectivity and a sustainable structure, represent the building’s most relevant parameters.
